i can’t recommend enough the very educational, entertaining and folksy podcasts Tommy Raye just started producing: Water Rights: Laws, Guns & Money. I’ve listened to 5 episodes so far and have learned a ton, thoroughly enjoying Tommy’s stories of gold miners shooting each other to protect their water rights. I think anyone who uses water, especially if you live in Colorado, owes it to him/herself to listen to his 25-minute podcasts and learn more about a topic that is critical to each of us. This guy knows his stuff. If he were a more formal commentator, I would use more formal language. But part of the beauty of listening to Tommy Raye is that he is not formal. He doesn’t talk down to us from a ivory tower. He speaks simply. He speaks plainly. And if someone like me can understand and learn from his podcasts, despite little background in the weighty water issues he covers, anyone can.
